I'd be interested in hearing your feedback about this software package that I developed. Check out the Nature category. The software is free, and my goal is to make improvements in future versions. Thanks for your time. Jim Halpin, CPA www.jhalpin.com ============================== Museum Archive software project http://www.musarch.com Free database software for museums, historical societies, schools, nonprofit organizations, and other groups. There are two versions of the software: the basic version that is a free download from the web site, and a premium version that is free with the purchase of the accompanying book. The web site will (soon) have a series of tutorial videos, and it has a complete online version of the software's help file (approx 110 pages). Purchasing the book is not a requirement - the basic version has no time limits or usage limits, but it does not have a few features that are included in the premium version. The book will be available for sale on Amazon in the near future. Both versions of the software are network-ready, multi-user applications able to store a (nearly) unlimited number of Objects. The end user has control over the structure of the supporting information (status codes, locations, sub-categories, source codes, and so on). Special emphasis is placed on locating Objects once they have been entered into the database. The end user can query the database to produce reports containing a sub-set of the total archive.
