Dear Maneesh,

You may want to take a look at euGenes eukaryote genome information service,
http://iubio.bio.indiana.edu/eugenes/
which includes an organized summary of 7 genomes, including human.
The human data is drawn from NCBI LocusLink, UCSC GoldenPath
Human genome annotation and other up to date sources. It
includes a collection of reference proteins (mainly for human
from NCBI RefSeq), genome feature locations on the draft public
human genome, and gene information.

Data miners can fetch full data for working with, from
ftp://iubio.bio.indiana.edu/eugenes/

The perl scripts used to collect and organize this data are
available in euGenes /tools/ web page.
