I am
mapping a
big YAC,
about 2Mb,
and could
use help
finding
out
the
following:
1. Does
anyone
know the
yeast
strain
that the
CEPH YACs
are in ,
and
especially, their size.
2. Are
there any
available
good
(preferably Macintosh) computer programs
for (1)
determining the size of a restriction fragment from mobility
of size
standards
and
mobility
of
unknown,
and(2) for
generating
restriction
maps from
digests
and
fragment
sizes.
Thanks to
all in
advance,
Alan
