Dear colleague:
Query-
It is estimated that in a eukaryotic somatic tissue (e.g. mouse muscle)
there are 10,000 to 15,000 genes expressed. What would be an estimated
percent of these genes which are muscle-specific genes (not general
housekeeping)? Is there a reference I could read? Thank you for your
help.
