Can anyone please tell me what diseases are known to be caused by
defects in chromosome 22?

Click on search OMIM database and enter Chromosome 22.  Check boxes OMIM number
and clinical description.  You should come up with 6 diseases.  By searching at
this site or moving to Medline from this site may give you more info.
