I am trying to find out some information on the likely toxicollogical
effects of low level pesticides on a biological treatment plant.
The pesticides in question are from processed sheep skins :

        Type Conc.
a. Chlorfenviphos <50ug/litre
b. Coumaphos <50mg/l
c. Diazinon <50mg/l
d. Fenchlorophos <50mg/l
e. Propetamphos <50mg/l

I am looking into the reducing COD (2500ppm as such) from an effluent
which contains the above in order to further process it through
activated carbon. In order to make this viable the COD will have to be
reduced to somewhere in the region of 500ppm. A biological treatment
plant seems to offer the most economical method although there may be
some detrimental effects on the active sludge due to concentration of
pesticides. Does anyone have any information on this that may be of
help?
I would be grateful for you help on this matter.
