PCR Cyclers

Can anyone supply info/recommendations/experiences regarding dedicated PCR
systems?  There are a number on the market now, along with a wide spread in     price ($1,500-$10,000).

Questions:
	advantages/disadvantages with liquid / electrical resistance / semi-
         conductor -based systems;
