Concerning the earlier message on DOE phone changes.
It is only on November 9, 1991 that the change of prefix from

301-353-xxxx
   to
301-903-xxxx
becomes effective at the US Dept. of Energy in Germantown, MD.

for the DOE Genome Group and other offices.

The additional prefix for the DOE in Washington, DC
202-287-xxxx is effective September 1, 1991.
