Wanted - a biologists view of the internet

I am developing a series of presetations on the internet.  I would like to
get some idea of what users think internet is.  I would also like to
know how you use the internet (e.g. anonymous ftp, ftp, usenet, mail
database access, library reord accss, remte logi, etc...).  Please
respond by E-mail, I will post a summary of responses to the usenet group
comp.misc.
