E-Conference to Coincide with Research Project

The CNIDIR-L list (Coalition for Networked Information Working Group on
Directories and Internet Resources) will host discussions related to the
OCLC Office of Research Internet Resources Project. This project is
examining the nature of textual information available through the Internet.

Conference participants are invited to discuss issues related to the
description and access of electronic information in a wide-area network
environment such as the Internet. Project staff will monitor the conference
and post interim findings. Conference participants are encouraged to
interact with each other as well as with project staff. The conference is
moderated by George H. Brett II, co-chair of the sponsoring CNI Working Group.
