Folks,

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that major portions of Apple Computer's
5.5 billion dollar look-and-feel lawsuit against Microsoft have been
dismissed by the judge hearing the case.

According to Apple's chief counsel, it may now be difficult to make a
look-and-feel case out of the remaining portions of the suit.  I hope so.

Microsoft stock jumped ten percent on the announcement of the news, adding
about $650 million to the personal fortune of Bill Gates.
