Possible interuption in NNTP transmissions / weekend GenBank downtime

We have received a couple of reports of NNTP transmission problems and
are looking into these.  Unfortunately this is the week of the big
USENIX meeting which is here in San Francisco, so many computer sites
are probably running on minimal staff around the country.

Also we announced on GENBANK-BB that we would be down this weekend for
a disk reorganization so mail will probably be queued for the next day
or two.  Please sit tight in the interim.
