I must admit to having been taken by surprise on this one!  The
proposed bionet.tropical/TROPICAL newsgroup for tropical biology
sailed through by achieving 49 votes in just five days.  NO NEED TO
SEND IN MORE; we'll get the wheels grinding to get this set up at the
various BIOSCI nodes.
