Those who are interested in Drosophila genetics, stocks and other info
can find a wealth of information available over the Internet, by
using Internet Gopher to ftp.bio.indiana.edu. We keep there
Drosophila data bases and the emerging FlyBase compendium
of Drosophila genome information.

Thru Gopher you can search several of these databases for known cytological
locations (and other things). There is a clone database, as maintained
by John Merriam, that may answer this particular question. Michael Ashburner's
Flybase includes accession numbers of the sequenced Drosophila genome
linked to cytological locations. You might also find help in the other
data sections also.
