The Cook College of Rutgers- The State University of New Jersey is
offering short courses in Wetland Management.
Wetland Law and Regulation
Date: April 28 & 29, 1993 Location: Central New Jersey
Description:
This two-day short course will focus on current and controversial
issues facing Federal and State wetland regulatory programs.Panels of
government regulators and wetland experts will discuss important,timely wetland
issues and highlight these issues are affecting wetland regulatory programs.
Some of the speakers for this program will be personnel from U.S. Army corps
Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency,U.S. Fish and wildlife service
and the N.J. Department of Environmental Protetction and Energy.

* Assumption of the Federal 404 Program
* Update of the pending revisions to the Federal Wetlands Manual
* Wetland buffers and Transition areas
* Mitigation Banking: Program Update
* Wetland Mitigation and Contaminated Sites
* Wetland and Surface Water Quality Standards
* Wetlands and Development of the Municipality Level
* Wetlands and the State Development and Redevelopment Plan
