Advisor STEALING an idea

The theft of ideas is ABSOLUTELY immoral. It presents a frustrating
situation for the person who originally though out the work (this
pertains to a lot of stuff in the arts as well as the sciences). Just
because someone pours the plates, runs the program, or lifts the
paintbrush does NOT make them creator to whom the credit is due. 

My suggestion is to bring the situation to the attention of a higher
authority.
