International Congress of Vertebrate Morphology
The 4th International Congress of Vertebrate Morphology is
planned for July 31 - Aug 4, 1994 at the University of Chicago.
This will be the first ICVM held in North America. In addition

functional design of musculoskeletal systems (organized by W.A.
Weijs and A. Biewener), the evolution of neural systems
(organized by K. Nishikawa and G. Northcutt), segmentation in
vertebrates (Krumlauf and Russell), genetics and morphology
(Cheverud and Atchley), adaptations of marine amniotes
(Pfeiffer), and amphibian-amniote transition (Sumida and Martin).
