DO YOU HAVE THE GENETIC RISK FACTORS
FOR HEART DISEASE?
The Sequoia Hospital LIPID INSTITUTE, headed by H. Robert Superko, M.D.,
is seeking volunteers for ongoing research studies. If you have HIGH
BLOOD LEVELS of cholesterol and triglycerides, you may have certain
GENETIC FACTORS that increase your risk for heart disease. We are
investigating the effect of 2 cholesterol-lowering medications in turning
"off" these genetic factors. The studies will include free-of-charge: new
state-of-the-art cholesterol tests for genetic risk factors, physical
exams, EKG, and medications. All visits will take place at Sequoia
Hospital in Redwood City, CA. Please call us for complete information:
1-800-50-LIPID or (415) 367-5830.
