Applications are sought for tenure track Assistant Professor
positions in Cell and Molecular Biology.  Those with interests
in the areas of development, microbiology or systematics using
molecular and/or genetic techniques are encouraged to apply, but
candidates with outstanding research achievements in other areas
will be considered.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. and
post-doctoral experience is preferred.  The successful candidate
will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate
education and to establish a vigorous research program.  The
Department of Biology offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. The
University of Texas at Arlington, located between Dallas and Ft.
Worth, is the second largest university in The University of
