Dear Netters,
After several times trying to understand the result search
returned by NCBI, I could not interpreated the outcome of the search. I would
be a very happy man if somebody out there could help me in understanding
the search.
At what point do you consider that your sequence is significant ?
Below is the first five listing of the search.
Smallest
Poisson
High Probability
Sequences producing High-scoring Segment Pairs: Score P(N) N

ANTIGEN) (FRAGMENT).

Another thing is the Third Part of the search result. Could you also
explain this too.
Score = 69 (30.4 bits), Expect = 1.0, P = 0.64
Identities = 14/67 (20%), Positives = 36/67 (53%)

Sbjct: 130 NQNENNDNQKYQEVNDEDDVNDEEDTNDDEDTNDEEDTNDDEDTNDDEDTNDEEDTNDEE 189
I hope after getting an explaination, I could interpreate the search
result myself or any search result in the future.
Thank You in Advance!!!
