I'm interested in x-ray crystallography and will be starting Ph.D. work at U. of Penn in the fall. I want to try to familiarize myself with this subject before I start, but have no idea where to begin. Can anyone suggest a starting point (book, paper, etc.) which might be the XRC equivalent of "DOS for Dummies"? Chris Summa
