Could someone please tell me why Cu and Zn are toxic to soil micro-organisms. What metabolic processes do they inhibit? I have only found vague general refernces to bacteriocides but nothing specific. E-mail replies would be preferential as I cannot always read the bionet. Thanks in advance.
