Animals in advertising - discuss?

Anthony Tomlinson pointed out an ad he found stupid and irresponsible.
	Perhaps a disclaimer "no animals were harmed in the making of this ad"
or some such would remove the irresponsibility charge--it seems to work for
movies.  As far as stupidity, that depends on the size of the increase (de-
crease) of the company's sales as a result of the ad campaign.  Who knows,
perhaps scientists will buy the stuff just to stick it to the animal rights
activists.
	In any event, there is some potential danger in the situation; I guess
we have to be speciationally correct.
