Director of Business Development
M.B.A.

o Experience with strategic planning, licensing, and business development in
the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.

o Experience with negotiating technology licenses and collaborations with
universities, identifying and analyzing potential partners for alliances,
and developing and negotiating corporate partnerships and joint ventures.    


Molecular Biology Senior Research Scientists and Post-doctoral Fellows
 Ph.D.  
Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics 
 
Positions are available for candidates with experience in any or all of the
following:

1) Expertise in protein-protein interactions, binding assays and biochemistry.  

2) Experience with cDNA and protein expression analysis.  Experience with
pICHIA a plus.
 
3) Experience with genomic level characterization.  Familiarity with wide
range of genomic techniques.    


Bioinformatics Genome Group Leader 
M.S., Ph.D.
Bioinformatics

o Experience with large scale genome projects, relational database systems,
project management, and systems administration. 

o Responsibilities will include the development of client/server
applications and laboratory automation systems.


Laboratory Robotics
B.S., M.S. or Ph.D.
Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering; Physics/Applied Physics 

o Experience with laboratory automation.  
o Knowledge of sequencing, PCR and molecular biology methods a plus. 
o Experience with Unix, C, Macintosh, and Windows.


Instrument Development
B.S., M.S. or Ph.D.
Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering; Physics/Applied Physics 

Work with a product development team and perform independent research on
high-level projects.  Experience and interest in:
 o Electrophoresis and biopolymer fragment separations
 o Design of nanofabricated instrumentation
 o Hands-on experimentation
 o Mechanical/optoelectronic design, CAE systems
 o Ultrahigh throughput systems, process engineering, and quality assurance
 o Experience with Unix, C, Macintosh, and Windows


Structural Biology Post-Doctoral and Research Scientists
Ph.D.
Statistical Mechanics, Computational and Molecular Modeling

o Solid background in statistical mechanics required
o Expertise in computational statistical mechanics, particularly advanced
Monte Carlo methods, preferred
o An interest in understanding biologically relevant molecules via
statistical mechanics is essential

Compensation package includes opportunity for equity participation.

is a recent winner of two Advanced Technology Program awards from the
National Institute for Standards and Technology, and also receives funding
from the National Cancer Institute and the National Center for Human Genome
