Speaking of departmental T-shirts, when I was a biochem grad student at UCSF I thought the Neuroscience students had the best shirt. Comemorating their weekly fri afternoon beer hour, it showed an overflowing beer stein where the foamy "head" of the beer was drawn to resemble a human cerebral cortex.
