several protein resources that may be of interest to you.  In addition
there are links to sites which will also be of interest (based on your 
question :-) - namely:

The ExPASy Molecular Biology Server
The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)
N.I.H. GenoBase Server
University of Geneva - Crystallography in Europe.
