Need research help

  I am looking for ANY information I can get on genetic evolution!  I
would like article names, magazine names or the name of resources I
can search on my own.  If anyone has the name of sites on the Internet
I can look, that would be great as well.  

  Specific information on the ideas of how the genes and the genetic code
of today came to be is more of what I am looking for.  Also the ideas
on the progression of our genetic code.
