Recommend a general molecular biology book.

I am looking for a good general molecular biology book, perhaps in a
dictionary or encycolpedia format.  Ideally, it would contain descriptions
of 1 or 2 paragraphs in length on a number of molbio topics such as PCR,
in situ hybrization, ELISA, fab fragment, scatchard plot, etc.  It should
be written for a scientific but nonspecialist audience.  Can anyone
recommend something suitable?
