ANNENBERG/CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING (CPB) MATH AND
SCIENCE PROJECT SEEKS INFORMATION ON INNOVATIVE PROJECTS/REFORM
INITIATIVES

Washington, D.C. - The Annenberg/Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) Math
and Science Project is asking educators and researchers nationwide to submit
information on current activities aimed at science and mathematics educational
reform in grades K-12, to be included in The Guide to Science and Mathematics
Reform.

Projects at the school, district, state, regional, and national levels are
all within the scope of the Guide. Information on significant reform
initiatives and trends, pilot projects, case studies, tools, workshops,
conferences, and other professional development activities will be included.

The Guide is being designed as a comprehensive national database, to support
communication among educators and others interested in science and mathematics
reform. Two editions are planned for release in 1994. Each edition will be
available in either MacIntosh or MS-DOS versions, and will include a
print introduction to the database.

The Guide to Science and Mathematics Reform is being developed for The
Annenberg/CPB Math and Science Project by Toby Levine Communications, Inc.,
