Eating Grasshoppers

When I was about 6 years old ( mid 1960's) my father bought a can of 
roasted and salted grasshoppers at Cost Plus Imports in 
San Francisco. I remember we ate a bunch of them and they 
were real good - Mom was disgusted though. The problem is 
a cultural thing. I'd much rather eat grasshoppers than 
to have to gut and skin a steer any day. How many of you carnivores 
could deal with a live chicken anyway. Its much easier being a vegitarian.

My cats like to eat grasshoppers too!
