differential glycosylation

hello,
interesting point ! i don not know of any examples, but i am also
working with a heavily glycosylated protein, currently expressed in
e. coli. it seems that the e. coli version works just as well as
the mammalian version. the protein does act over a receptor.
so, in my case, glycosylation does not appear to make such a huge
difference (hmmm, or am i just lucky, i wonder ?)
