Hi Ypu might try contacting Crop Genetics International in Columbia MD. They have worked with a bacteria C. xlli, that is very GC rich. A 1,2kb fragment was amplifird fron genomic DNA only by using huge amounts of DNA. I don't have an e-mail address but the phone is 410-381-3800.
