I see that we are invited to contribute to a discussion on the institution
of a newsgroup titled "bionet.organisms.urodeles"

As someone who is just becoming involved in research on the molecular
phylogeny of Caecilians, I would prefer to see a wider group, in which all
amphibian interests were included.   "Urodeles" is too narrow a
specialisation.
