Try " A biologist's guide to principles and techniques of practical
biochemistry" Edited by Keith Wilson and Keneth Goulding 3rd ed
published by Edward Arnold (1986) ISBN 0-7131-2942-5. Good general
book -discusses almost everything. There may be a more recent edition.
