In studying the Plant's Circulatory System, I note a term "Guttation",
which refers to a plant under certain conditions, root pressure builds
up high enough to force water and minerals completely out of the tips
of leaves.
Guttation happens at night, when there is no transpiration.
My question is: In pine trees, is the pitch that drops on my new truck
the product of guttation?
Thank you for any reply.
