The following is an exerpt from the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man
available by WWW at http://gdbwww.gdb.org/omim. I hope this is of some use.
OMIM -- 480000
G480000 TESTIS-DETERMINING FACTOR [TDF; SEX-DETERMINING REGION Y; SRY]
Mutations in this gene give rise to XY females with gonadal dysgenesis and translocation of part
of the Y chromosome containing this gene to the X chromosome in XX males Goodfellow and
Lovell-Badge (1993) provided a major review of SRY and sex determination in mammals.
