PCR HPV

Hi, we are planning to teach a course (next Feb) on the use of PCR
as a diagnostic tool for human HPV (cervical lesions), we are
are going to use the SDS-ProteinK method to extract the DNA.
Does anybody knows of any other method?. With higher yield or faster?.
Also does anybody knows about commercial kits to detect HPV?.
Any info on that will be appreciated (cost, reliability, FDA approval, etc.)
