Two Questions On Drosophila.

Would be very grateful if anyone who knows would tell me what the
average life span of Drosophila, or of the primary strain thereof,
is.  Another idle question: a figure bandied about is that the
genomes of humans and chimpanzees are 99% identical.  What would 
the comparable percentage be for humans and fruit flies, and how 
much is known of the latter's genome, in comparison to the former's ?
