Conference on Cancer, AIDS, and Quality of Life


The International Council for Global Health Progress will host the 
conference "Cancer, AIDS, and Quality of Life" in Paris, France, January 15 
through 17, 1996. The program will include plenary sessions, symposia, and 
workshops dealing with the challenges of cancer and acquired immunodeficiency 
syndrome (AIDS) to researchers, health care providers, ethicists, lawyers, and 
religious leaders who need to find solutions that consider patients' quality of 
life. Among the scheduled speakers are Claude Jasmin, Peter Piot, Jay Levy, 
Alvan Feinstein, Daniel Callahan, Elie Wiesel, and Sheldon Greenfield.
