info on little blue penguins

I am interested in information concerning little blue penguins and 
general methods of bird conservation by translocation. Does anyone have 
experience with monitoring devices (not necessarily specific to penguins) 
or evaluating habitat suitability for relocation? Any help at all would 
be appreciated, including pointers to other sources.
