CHROMIUM PICOLINATE

Picoline is an aromatic amine (a diamino benzene).  Chromium picolinate is
the corresponding salt.  It is not (I think) a carboxylic acid salt.  It
is, however, reasonably soluble.

Chromium is very toxic.

I used to visit health food stores to buy good, whole grain meal and
flour.  Now I order from King Arthur's of Maine and save myself the
trouble and expense.  I can't think of any other reason to listen to the
babble of the proprietors.
