Study Tropical Biology in Hawaii with Langara College,
Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The theme of the course is biological
diversity within the tropical environment, and how it is
affected by human activity. The course is April 26-May 11, 1995.
This is a three credit first year biology course which partially
fulfills the science requirement for non-science majors.

April 26-30 will be lectures and labs, to cover basic biological
principles. May 3-11 will be spent on Oahu (briefly) and the Big
Island, with field trips designed to complement the lecture
series. these will include botanical surveys, snorkeling
expeditions, and examinations of the impact of volcanic action
on biological development.
