Picorna - how to pronounce it

I am currently doing a study of sequence information in the
family of Picorna virus (small RNA viruses).

Since I haven't spoken to any real experts in the field, I am
wondering how to pronounce this name;

1) PICO-RNA or

2) PI-COR-NA?

Can anyone help me?
