I am posting this for a friend in need.

My friend has developed a health problem. About one year ago
she started to trip over her own feet. Every once in awhile it
would feel like her feet were floppy like a fish. Then her left
leg felt this way and now both legs. She is 44 years old and
can't walk except when someone is helping her or she holds onto
the walls. She has had MRI's, CAT scans and X-rays. She had an
MRI of her brain to check for MS as well as fluid drawn from her
spine for MS. Doctors have found nothing.

They told her it is a muscle disease related to Lou Gehrig's
disease but they can't find anything wrong except the symptoms.
Does anyone know of anyone who has had this kind of problem and
if so, what did they do to get better.

My friend's address is: halkor at salem-1.salem.kent.edu

Sincere thanks for reading this post.
