squirrel colors

I don't intend to drag this thread out any further, but I
want to put my 2 cents in....

I've lived in CT for almost all my life and have enjoyed
seeing the grey squirrel variety in New England.  When I
moved to Texas a few years ago, I was amazed at the color
of squirrels here, which are red.

In a somewhat related story, there is at least 1 albino
squirrel here on the University of Texas campus.  One
cartoonist in the student paper actually created a strip
centering on the albino squirrels adventures on campus...
