Alien (The Movie)

Aliens parasitism is a bit unusual though. In nature, if you've had
an egg laid in you (ie you are a spider, caterpillar or whatever)
you've had it.......

Surely a human with access to medical facilities could have the 'egg'
removed.Of course,the newer movies suggest that the 'egg'is a strand 
of DNA or something, which would be hard to remove to say the least.

But the Alien 'chest-burster' is probably less 'orrible than the wasp
grubs, which eat the host while leaving the vital organs intact......

On the Alien theme, how does "molecular acid for blood" carry oxygen
around the body?
