Environmental Sex Determina

We were discussing ESD in a reproductive physio. class and the molecular 
basis for temperature determination of sex.  We threw out a few ideas 
(we're mostly an ecological group...not too molecular).  But we couldn't 
think of a molecular basis for the other proposed environmental sex 
determiner...humidity. (Unless it buffers the effects of temp.)  If 
anyone has  answer that we are over-looking, please reply to...
