algae O2 productions in function of light

Hello all

I'm a young research on bio-chemistry.
I'm interested on the algae production of O2 in functions of
light intesity ; expecialy from a mathematical point of view.

I used the function:

P=a tanh(b I)+c
P-> production
a,b the initial slops
I the light intesity...
I would like to know if you could suggest some refereces
for my work.
