A friend of mine needs some data on moose, so I thought I'd ask here. If
this isn't the right place, please let me know.

The first thing he needs to know is if you can quantify the age of a moose
by the hoofprint.

Also, he needs information on the center of gravity and moment of inertia
of your average moose. Pictures of skeletal structure would also be
helpful.

Any references to books on moose would be great as well. Surely there is a
"moose bible" out there. We've check the University of Washington without
much luck.

I'll try to follow the newsgroup for a while, but email would be much
more convenient. I'll summarize the replies.

Thanks.
