Hi there!
I have a question about affinity chromatography with Concanavalin A (Con A).
Once the sample intended for fractionation has been applied and eluted from
the Con A column, say with methyl mannoside or methyl glucoside, how should
the column be treated again before the next sample is applied. Do you have
to get rid of the now tightly boung mannosides and glucosides that were used
to elute the previous sample? If so, how?
Any information would be appreciated.
